I served in the US Army from 1993 to 1997. I went to Basic at Ft. Leonardwood, MO. During my in-processing phase at Ft. Leonardwood, I was injected with a small device of some sort. I was under the impression that the injection was just another immunization, which all of the soldiers were getting at this time. Obviously, I later realized that it was not a normal immunization. I have made several trips to the VA clinic and have taken XRays and an MRI, which show that this device is in fact logged in my shoulder. It is causing me extreme pain and I will be having it removed as soon as possible. My question is, what legal recourse do I have at this point. I know that it has been more than 20 years, but I didn’t know what had been done until recently. I would appreciate any advice at this point. Thanks for your time.

Please, back in 1977 I was discharged as a Sgt Gary D Barnes , at ft Riley is they have me my discharge form which read sp-4 and not sgt. E-5 i have been trying to get her to get this taken care of. Please can you help.
