I am writing to complain about our experience on Friday night when myself and nine friends came to see the 8. 30 showing of Dirty Dancing. We booked a meal prior to the show and arrived with an hour and 20 minutes to spare. The starters eventually arrived after 45 minutes and five minutes before the start of the show our main course still had not arrived. Obviously we did not want to miss the show so had to cancel the main course and settle our bill which consequently made us late arriving at the Theatre. Only to be told that we were not allowed to sit together at the seats we had paid for because of the late arrival which was caused by yourselves. At no point were we told by restaurant staff that we would not have time to eat. We chose the pre-theatre menu so that we would be on time for the show
Quite frankly through no fault of our own the whole evening was a disaster, We missed our meal, missed the start of the show and ended up sitting away from our friends in inferior seats. I would like to know what you propose to do to compensate us.
