It is known for its ARC Trainer, a fitness machine which is being promoted as the stationary and "non-impact" exercise machine.

Nasdaq under the share symbol, CYBI. Cybex International provides its products through the network of distributors covering over 87 nations. Its merchandises are assembled and fabricated at the factories based in Medway, Massachusetts, and Owatonna, Minnesota. Former is its main manufacturing facility which produces fitness equipment on a large scale. Cybex holds more than 90 patients regarding the design and innovations in fitness equipment. The company is also one of the major suppliers of fitness equipment to the sports club, fitness clubs, YMCAs, corporate fitness clubs, and sports teams.
History and Expansion
Cybex International was incorporated in 1960's under the title of The Cybex Ergometer Company and later on was owned by Lumex, which released its IPOs on the American Stock Exchange for the first time. The earlier range of the company was full of isokinetic rehabilitation equipment. After selling its medical distribution operation in 1995, Lumex rebranded itself as Cybex followed by its merger with Trotter, Incorporation, which was considered an eminent producer of treadmills. UM Holdings, the parent company of the latter emerged as the major stakeholders in Cybex. In 2001, Cybex was successful to purchase Forza to set up its operations in the United Kingdom. In 2003, it launched its range of Arc Trainer, one of the trade mark fitness equipment of the company.
