Grande Prairie Regional College or GPRC is a higher education college. The college came into existence in 1966 as Grande Prairie Junior College but it was renamed in the current name in 1970. It has two campuses namely Fairview and Grande Prairie while learning centers are situated in Edson, Grande Cache, Hinton and Jasper. The college offers baccalaureate and master levels programs and diploma programs such as Arts, Associate of Science, Commerce, Computing Science, Computing and Information Systems, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Kinesiology, Management/Commerce, Music, Nursing, Open Studies, Physical Education, Science, Social Work etc. Its diploma programs are Certificate and Diploma Programs, Academic Upgrading, Animal Health Technology, Associate of Science, Business Administration etc. Apart from this the college also imparts several curricular activities such as events, sports, games etc.
