History
Mobily was introduced by a consortium led by Etisalat in the year 2004 and it obtained a certification for providing the third generation services. Its shares are also listed on Tadawul Stock Exchange in December 2004 and in March 2008; it took possession over Bayanat al-Oula after the consent of CITC (Communication and Information Technology Commission). The company also purchased shares of Saudi ISP (Internet Service Provider), Zajil in November 2008. It started delivering
Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) for the customers and also introduced unlimited mobile broadband data bundles in May 2007. According to the record of 2011, the company had
Revenue of $5.35 billion along with operating income of $1.41 billion.
