I have become increasingly disappointed in PCU. Today I made a debit purchase at 3:47 PM at an Aldi's Supermarket in Warwick, RI. I used my debit card which is usual. I came home to check that it appears correctly, and low and behold, it doesn't even show up. This is not the first time I have made debit transactions before 4:00 PM and they show up until the next day. Why? Even the stock market doesn't close until 4:00 PM. And do not get me started and your withdrawal from the SUM network without any notification to members. So now when I or my family travels there is not a bank/credit union anywhere where I can withraw cash without a surcharge from that bank or credit union. You are not the credit union I joined back in 199. You have become what I left: big bank America with outrageous fees and lack of customer compassion. And do not get me started about your call center that is ALWAYS experiencing longer than normal call volume. More big bank America. Maybe it is time for my family and me to look at a more member friendly credit union or small community bank.
