The Three Thermal power plants are Guru Nanak Thermal Power Plant Bhatinda, Guru Gobind Super Thermal Plant Ropar and Guru Hargobin Thermal Power Plant Lehara Mohabbat.
- Hydel Projects: The Hydel Plants are the main generation producers of corporation. The Punjab power corporation has built Dams where form it generates Hydel power and then transfer that to the homes of consumers through the efficient transmission system. Punjab power corporation owned five Hydel power projects that comprises of Ranjit Sagar Dam a Hydel Electric project that is built on Ravi River and has generation capacity of 600MW. Mukerian Hydel Project that hold capacity of 207MW, Anandpur Sahib Hydel Project Located on Satluj River and Upper Bari Doab Canal Hydro Electric Project.
- Micro Projects: The Punjab power corporation, apart from big plants runs the small plants to explore the generation capacity of small potential sources. The micro Plants include both Hydel and Thermal
