Queen's University Kingston is the provider of educational courses that cover above 1,350 hectare area in Ontario, Canada. The University offers different undergraduates and postgraduate’s courses for the students. Queen's History
Queen's University was created on 16th of October 1841 and started its classes on 7th of March l842 by introducing Queen's College at Kingston. It began its journey from a small wood-frame house with two professors and 13 students and it was also received funds from Presbyterian Church in Scotland, the government of Canada and private citizens. In 1854, it established Faculty of Medicine and in 1861, it acquired Kingston Observatory. The Ontario School of Mining and Agriculture was introduced by the University in the year 1893 and introduced its graduate program in 1889. It established Douglas Library in the year 1924 and Ban Righ Hall in the year 1925 that provides residence facility for the students at Queen's University. The University acquired its west campus in 1969 that covers nearly 61-acre area.
