Red Robin Gourmet Burgers operates 450 restaurants across the United States till the end of year 2010. Initially, the store was opened near Furhman and Eastlake Avenues, Seattle as Sam's Tavern. Its owner, Sam liked "When the Red, Red Robin" song and he renamed the restaurant as Sam's Red Robin.
