WFG means World Financial Group was started by Hubert Humphrey. It came into existence as Alexander, Inc. which was later renamed into World Marketing Alliance (WMA). After that, the company expanded business through office locations in countries like Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, the Philippines and Puerto Rico.
Aegon purchased it in the first year of 20th century and reintroduced operations under the name of World Financial Group, Inc.
